Delivery: Apple Wallet vs Google Wallet
How wallet notifications differ between Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and the web-card fallback, plus what each status means.
Where a customer added their card determines what kind of notification they can receive from you.
Apple Wallet
- Lock-screen push notifications for broadcasts and triggers.

Google Wallet
- Push notifications for broadcasts and triggers.
- No radius control — Google Wallet decides its own proximity behavior, and Waya's geofence radius setting does not apply.
Web card (no wallet)
Customers who used the web-card fallback instead of adding to a wallet don't have a wallet pass to push to, so they receive nothing — no lock-screen push, no geofence.
Delivery statuses

Why this affects your delivery report
A mix of Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and web-card holders on the same card means a single broadcast can show a mix of statuses in one report — delivered for wallet holders, and no_pass or skipped for anyone still on the web-card fallback. This is expected, not an error, and it's a good reason to encourage customers to add their card to a wallet at enrollment.

Can a web-card customer ever receive a notification?
No — without a wallet pass, there's no push channel to reach them. Encourage web-card customers to add to Apple or Google Wallet when possible.
Why did my broadcast show "skipped" for some customers?
Skipped means Waya had no reachable device to deliver to for that send — for example, a device that has removed the pass.
