The Setup Flow

After you sign up, Waya walks you through a short guided flow that turns a blank account into a published loyalty card, one screen at a time.

The steps

1. Hello

   A short welcome screen that starts the flow and sets expectations for what comes next.

2. Name

   Enter your shop's name. This is what customers and your team see throughout the dashboard and on the card.

3. Type

   Choose your business type from the list — cafe, restaurant, barber, salon, gym, spa, retail, pharmacy, car wash, mechanic, or other. See choosing a business type for more on each option.

4. Logo

   Upload your shop's logo. It appears on the card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and in the dashboard wherever your shop is identified.

5. Location

   Add your shop's address and coordinates. This becomes your first branch, and the coordinates are what later power the Apple Wallet geofence, so it's worth getting the pin accurate.

6. Card

   Set up your first loyalty card — pick a color and decide how many stamps a customer needs to earn a reward. This is a real, working card, not a preview.

7. Launch

   Confirm and Waya publishes the card, then shows a short celebration screen to mark the finish. From here your card is live and ready for enrollments.

Everyone starts on Free

There's no plan-selection step in the Setup Flow, and no credit card is requested anywhere in it. Every new account starts on the Free plan, which is enough to publish one stamp card, and you can upgrade later from Settings → Subscriptions when you need more cards, branches, staff seats, or messages.

Before you start

Having your shop's logo file and address on hand makes the flow faster, since the Logo and Location steps ask for them directly. You don't need a finished card design in mind — the Card step only asks for a color, a stamp count, and reward text, and you can refine all of it later from the Designer tab.

The Location step does double duty

The address and coordinates you enter on the Location step aren't just for show — they become your shop's first branch record. If you later add more branches from Settings → Branches, this is the one that's already on file, and it's the one Apple Wallet uses for the lock-screen geofence once you turn that on. Getting the pin placed accurately here saves you from having to fix it later.

After Launch

Finishing the flow doesn't lock anything in place. Every choice you made — the name, logo, location, and card — stays editable from the dashboard afterward: Settings → Company for your name, logo, and contact details, Settings → Branches for locations, and the Designer tab for the card itself. The Setup Flow is meant to get you to a working, published card quickly, not to be the only place you can make these changes.
