Scheduling Sends and Working Hours
Schedule a broadcast for later, and see how your shop's Business Hours setting delays sends made outside opening hours.
Instead of sending a broadcast right away, you can schedule it for a specific date and time.
How to schedule a send
- Compose your message
Write your broadcast in the Recipients composer as usual.
- Pick a date and time
Set the send time instead of choosing "send now."
- Confirm
Your send is queued and shows as pending in the delivery report until it fires.
Working hours
Waya respects the Business Hours you set for your shop. If a scheduled send would land outside those hours, it waits and goes out at the next open slot instead of firing overnight or before you open.
Why this matters
A customer who sees a lock-screen message at 3 a.m. is more likely to mute your notifications than act on them. Scheduling around your shop's real hours keeps every send landing when a customer can actually act on it — for example, an evening promo you schedule for a closed period will simply wait for tomorrow's opening instead of going out overnight.
Next steps
- Set your Business Hours in Settings
- Schedule a campaign the same way
- Send a broadcast right now instead
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I schedule a send exactly during my working hours?
It sends at the scheduled time as normal — the working-hours check only delays sends that fall outside your set hours.
Does scheduling cost more of my message balance?
No — a scheduled send costs the same one message per recipient as sending immediately.
