During the Setup Flow, Waya asks what kind of business you run — it helps you and your team recognize the shop in the dashboard.

- Restaurant

Picking a card type that fits
| Business type | Card type that usually fits |
|---|---|
| Cafe, restaurant | Stamp card — a free item after a set number of visits |
| Barber, salon (uniform pricing) | Stamp card — for example, a free haircut every sixth visit |
| Gym, spa, retail (variable pricing) | Points or balance card once on a paid plan |
| Pharmacy, car wash, mechanic, other | Either — pick based on whether pricing is uniform or variable |
It's not a permanent label
The business type you choose during setup is mainly there to help you and your team recognize your shop and to point you toward a card type that fits how you price things. If none of the eleven options match exactly, choose Other — nothing in the rest of the dashboard changes based on this choice, and it does not restrict which card type you can eventually use once you are on a paid plan.
