Branch location and geofence
Turn branch coordinates into a lock-screen geofence message on Apple Wallet, with a radius from 50 to 500 meters. Growth and Premium only.
Once a branch has coordinates set, you can send customers a lock-screen message the moment they're nearby — at no cost to your message balance.
Turn on a geofence
- Set the branch's coordinates
Done from Settings, Branches, if you haven't already.
- Go to Notifications, then Location
This is where geofences are configured.
- Turn on the geofence for that branch
Each branch can have its own geofence.
- Write the lock-screen message
This is what the customer sees when they're nearby.
- Set the radius
Use the slider, from 50 to 500 meters in 50-meter steps. The default is 150 meters.
- Save
The geofence is now live for that branch.

No — geofence messages cost zero message quota, unlike broadcasts and triggers.
Will Android customers get the same lock-screen ping?
Google Wallet has its own proximity logic. The 50 to 500 meter radius setting is specific to Apple Wallet.
