Connect Odoo
Create an Odoo API key and connect it to Waya so paid invoices from your Odoo system award loyalty stamps automatically.
Connect Odoo so paid invoices from your business management system turn into stamps on the matching customer's Waya card.
What you need
- An active Premium subscription on Waya
- Your Odoo system URL, database name, and a user with API access
Get an API key from Odoo
- Open Account Security
Go to Preferences → Account Security.
- Create a new key
Click 'New API Key'.
- Copy the key
Copy the key. It's best practice to create a read-only user for Waya rather than using an admin account.
Connect it in Waya
- Open Settings → Apps
In your Waya dashboard, go to Settings → Apps.
- Choose Odoo
Select Odoo from the list of connectors.
- Enter your System URL
Paste your Odoo instance address, for example https://yourcompany.odoo.com, into the 'System URL' field.
- Enter your database name
Type your database name into the 'Database name' field.
- Enter your username
Type the Odoo username tied to the API key into the 'Username' field.
- Paste the API key
Paste the key you generated into the 'API key' field.
- Save and wait for the first sync
Save the connection. The first sync runs automatically in the background.
