Design your card
Set your card's logo, colors, hero image, and stamp count in the Designer tab — here is how each field affects the card.
The Designer tab is where you set everything a customer sees on the card itself, from colors to the reward text, whether you are refining the card from setup or building a new one.
Open the Designer
From the sidebar, select Designer to edit any of your cards. If you have more than one card, choose which one to work on first — each card is designed and published independently.
Fields you can set
- Logo
Upload your shop's logo. It appears on the card in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, so keep it simple enough to read small.
- Colors
Pick the card's background color to match your brand. This is the color a customer sees behind the stamps or points on their lock screen.
- Hero image
Add a hero image — the banner graphic shown near the top of the card, above the stamp or points display.
- Stamps required
For a stamp card, set how many stamps a customer needs before they earn the reward. Points, balance, and discount cards have their own equivalent settings once you are on a paid plan — see card types.
- Reward text
Write what the customer gets once the card is complete, for example "Free coffee" or "10% off your next visit." This is the line customers see as motivation while they are still collecting stamps.
- Back fields
Add the details that show on the back of the card, like contact information or terms — see back fields for what belongs there.
Starting from a template
If you would rather not design from scratch, start from one of Waya's built-in templates and adjust colors and text from there — see templates. Templates set a starting look; every field above stays editable afterward.
Saving your changes
Changes you make in the Designer do not reach customers who already have the card until you republish — see publish and republish. A brand-new card, on the other hand, is available to enroll into as soon as you publish it for the first time.
Designing for a small screen
Every field you set here ends up rendered small, on a lock screen or inside the Wallet app, often glanced at rather than read closely. A high-contrast logo, a color that stands out against your phone's other cards, and a short, specific reward line — "Free wash" reads faster than a full sentence — all do more for you than a busy design. Save detail for the back fields, which customers only see when they choose to look.
One card, multiple branches
A single card design works across every branch you run — you don't design a separate card per location. If you want to track which branch enrolled which customer, that comes from the branch parameter on the enrollment link and poster, not from the card design itself — see QR code and enrollment link.
Working with more than one card
Once your plan supports more than one active card, the Designer keeps each one separate — editing a points card's colors or reward text has no effect on a stamp card you also run. This is useful if you want to run different rewards for different segments, for example a simple stamp card for walk-ins alongside a points card for regulars, as long as you stay within your plan's card limit.
