What a Qoyod connection changes at the counter
Qoyod is where a lot of Saudi shops already keep their invoicing, but on its own it has no loyalty layer — nothing stamps a card or tracks a repeat customer when an invoice gets marked paid. Bolt Waya onto that workflow and the gap closes: the cashier keeps working in Qoyod exactly as before, and the reward shows up on the customer's Apple or Google Wallet card without anyone touching a second app.
The change is narrow by design. Waya reads what Qoyod already records — paid invoices — and turns each one into a stamp, a handful of points, or store credit, depending on the card type the shop has set up. Everything about how invoices are created, priced, or sent through Qoyod stays untouched.
The mechanics behind the Waya–Qoyod link
Once the connection is saved, here's what actually happens with every invoice Qoyod marks paid:
- Only invoices Qoyod marks paid after the connection is created are read — nothing from before that moment is pulled in.
- The customer is found by the phone number attached to their Waya wallet card; there's no email-based lookup.
- An invoice that clears the shop's minimum, 15 SAR unless changed, earns one stamp on a stamp card.
- On a points card, the reward is the invoice total multiplied by the shop's points-per-SAR setting (1 by default, adjustable between 0.1 and 100), rounded down to a whole number.
- Balance and cashback cards can add store credit worth a percentage of the invoice, a setting each shop turns on for itself — it's off until a merchant chooses otherwise.
- Waya checks Qoyod in the background on its own schedule — a Qoyod invoice that just cleared typically shows up as a stamp within minutes.
Connect your Qoyod account to Waya
Qoyod issues an API key from inside its own settings, then you paste that single key into Waya's connector form — no OAuth screen, no developer, no code. Waya's Qoyod connection guide walks through it with screenshots; the outline is below.
- Open General Settings in Qoyod
Log in to your Qoyod account and go to Settings → General Settings, where the API key lives.
- Generate the API key
Click the button to generate a new API key and keep the tab open — you'll copy this value into Waya next.
- Open Settings → Apps in Waya
Switch to your Waya dashboard and find the Apps screen under Settings, the same place every Premium connector is added from.
- Pick Qoyod and paste the key
Select Qoyod from the list of connectors and paste the API key you copied into the single field it asks for.
- Choose a branch, set your minimum, and save
Assign the connection to one branch, confirm the minimum paid-invoice amount that should earn a reward (15 SAR by default), and save — Waya takes it from there.
What adding Qoyod to your loyalty program costs
Qoyod support ships inside Waya Premium, priced at 149 SAR a month or 1,520 SAR a year. An active Premium subscription unlocks it along with unlimited customers, cards, branches, staff accounts, and outbound messages — Qoyod is one of several connectors included at that single price, not an add-on billed on top.
Shops that aren't ready for Premium still get to see what they'd unlock: Free stays 0 SAR forever for up to 100 customers on one stamp card, and Growth runs 85 SAR a month (867 SAR a year) — both show the Apps screen as a locked preview instead of hiding it. Nothing about Qoyod is metered per invoice or per customer once you're on Premium; one monthly price covers however many paid invoices the connector processes. Compare all three tiers on the Waya pricing page.
Where Waya + Qoyod lands next to other Saudi loyalty tools
The numbers below come from each vendor's own pricing and integrations page, checked as of September 2026 — vendors update pricing, so confirm the current figure before you commit to one.
Not listed means the vendor's own materials don't mention that column at all, and none of the seven platforms in this table name Qoyod as a connector of any kind.

What the Qoyod connector doesn't try to do
The Qoyod connector sticks to one job: watching for paid invoices. Everything outside that scope is worth understanding before you flip it on.
Why Qoyod merchants specifically gain from this
Qoyod itself is accounting software, not a POS or a loyalty tool — it has no stamp cards, no points, and no wallet passes of its own, so a Qoyod-only shop has nothing to lose by adding Waya on top; there's no overlapping feature to reconcile.
Because Qoyod centers on invoicing rather than a till, the connector reads whatever Qoyod calls a paid invoice, whether that invoice came from a shop counter, a service booking, or an online order recorded through Qoyod. As long as the invoice carries the customer's phone number and clears the shop's minimum, it counts toward their Waya card the same way any other paid invoice would.
Frequently asked questions
How much extra does the Qoyod connector cost on top of Waya Premium?
Nothing extra — it's part of the 149 SAR a month (or 1,520 SAR a year) Premium subscription, alongside every other connector and unlimited customers, cards, and branches.
Can I connect Qoyod while I'm on Waya's Free or Growth plan?
No. Both plans show the Apps screen as a locked preview; connecting Qoyod, or any provider, needs an active Premium subscription first.
How does Waya know which Qoyod invoice belongs to which customer?
By phone number only. The number on the paid Qoyod invoice has to match the number the customer used to add their Waya wallet card — there's no email lookup as a backup.
Will Waya pull in invoices I paid before I connected Qoyod?
No. Only invoices Qoyod marks paid after you save the connection are read; nothing earlier is imported.
I use a POS terminal alongside Qoyod — does that matter?
Waya does not connect to Foodics or Marn, and there's no POS-terminal integration at all. Whatever terminal rang up the sale, the connector only reads Qoyod's own paid invoices.
